My stocks are getting low so I needed something quick. Picked up an Altbier from festabrew. Its been a few years i believe since I last made this. From what I can remember you could taste the malt but not much hops ( but maybe that was the way it was supposed to be). Have any of you made this and if so would you recommend any additions?
Thanks Bobby

Re: Festabrew
I'd use American ale 2 around 60f.

Re: Festabrew
It's a nice dark ale with plenty of maltiness, german ale yeast would fit nicely.
Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA

Re: Festabrew
Agree with the German Ale yeast (Wyeast 1007) at a nice cool temp.
