Measuring Mash PH

Post by HPhunter » Fri Feb 01, 2013 4:06 pm

How are you guys measuring Mash PH? After going over my last 2 test brews and my water profile, I would like to test and evaluate my next Mash PH. My Pale Ales are not coming out quite right.
Thanks

I'm guessing that a pH meter is likely the only reliable DIY method.

I might be able to scrounge up an old meter.

Any chance of finding that stir plate too?
I am looking to make it to the H&T on Sun. Not sure though weather/hernia surgery may keep me home.

The plate's gone sorry. I must have lent it or sold it and then forgot. Too late in the day to come with anything this trip for pH. Next week I'll look around.

Is this something you have a source for? If so, how much are they?
