C02 effects on lagering?

So I got two lagers on the go, so far in the keg for two weeks at 2 deg c and they aren't carbonated yet.
What are the effects of carbonating during lagering?
I'm begging to drink these.

I had the same question...
From what I know, the pressure will effect the yeast. However at this stage the yeast have dropped out and we're not relying on them for much plus we've racked off of the yeast cake.
Otherwise, I don't think CO2 effects lagering and from what I can tell there are a lot of breweries (continental European even) that carbonate while lagering. Some even carbonate while the yeast are actave using a spunding valve. I hooked up the CO2 to my pils this evening, plus the wait is killing me.

How are you carbing the lager? CO2 or sugar? I don't image it would naturally carb with sugar at that temp.

What's your psi set to? Is it possible your tank is empty or the line may have some liquid in it and is frozen?

Oh nothing is wrong with my c02. I was just wondering if applying c02 during lagering damages the lagering process.

Ah, I misunderstood the question. I carbonate while lagering all the time, that way you can sample and see the difference the age makes
