Wasn't there a post from OBK saying they have or were getting in false bottoms?

Made a dipa today and everything was clogged to shit! Hoping a decent false bottom will reduce the chances of future clogs.

Clogged from hops you mean? I have a hinged false bottom that fits these pots, it's my old one from my keggles (I purchased from http://www.norcalbrewingsolutions.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

It won't do much to help with hops though, unless you're using leaf hops. I've given up on filtering hops from the fermenter...I think the best solution I've used is a hop spider.

Well I used a hop sock, but today's brew had 600 grams of hops in it and just made a mess.

I think a hop sock to fit the pot would work. I have a "rough" version of one here that hasn't really been tested yet.

They have a bazooka screen option that can filter out the hops.

I have a bazooka and it works well but with pellet hops the outer edge just gets caked with hops and the wort can't drain

From December 2, OBK FB News:
A lot of folks have been asking "What's next for the OntarioBeerKegs family in new products?" Well, we are happy to announce just in time for Christmas: Stir-plates and The Keg Koozy! These products have been offered as a group buy to two different clubs.

On the "Coming Soon" front, we have an order for 12" Domed False bottoms that will fit any of our pots, most keggles and round coolers ( I know about time.. ). If the supplier pulls through we have 1/2" ID 3/4" OD silicone hose to add as well.

The Ruby Street brewing rig should be here early in the year. And of course there is a big list of small items on the way.

Looks awesome. Don't think it will work though as I don't think the pickup value is the right size.

I was thinking of buying one of the Blichmann HopBlockers for my OBK pot. Kind of expensive, but something to consider.

Might be worth it though. It was a tough sell, but I shelled out the cash for a Hop Stopper and it's been one of the best purchases I've made (brewing equipment-wise) in a long time. Works great in my 15gal OBK pot.

That's pretty much the exact same thing I got from X and use in my current pot. It does work great but I find it a pain to clean. I was thinking the HopBlocker would be pretty easy to rinse.

I use a ghetto hop stopper, a 2' x 2' sheet of fine SS mesh folded into an envelope over my bazooka screen. So far it has worked great at filtering pellets, but its a bit of a pain and I have only tried it twice.

I was thinking of one as well, but it has less than stellar reviews that has kinda steered me away from it.

The reviews are certainly mixed... I would like to see a review from a reliable source however. User reviews are not at all trustworthy.

Doesn't get clogged at all. I actually had been using whole leaf hops for the most part before I got this, but I'm now switching back to pellets because it does such a great job with them.
