how do you know when your Co2 regulator is dead?

Im pretty sure mines pooched obviously there's no low air or amount gauge left, but I think the other one works, but I now have to screw the "control" almost all the way in to get to 30 PSI?

nope just got a today, I thought that too.
it just seems that there's less resistance when i try and up the PSI to carbonate

NoNot tonight but I may take you up on that!
Just tried an ipa that should be nicely carbed up by now and it's flat probably half of what I wanted which sucks because I really wanted to try it tonight:-(

So, lots of co2 in the tank, but no gas pressure out? That didn't sound good. Have you removed the line from the reg to check that there's gas flowing before the needle starts creeping up? You said it seems like you're really screwing it in to get to 30psi. Do you have a check valve in place? Could it have gotten a backflush of beer in it?

Gas flows out at low psi if I push the pin on the connector. And I haven't bothered to take it apart yet maybe this weekend
