Hey all,
I planted an Eroica rhizome this year in a 7 gallon bucket, but I want to have it in the ground next year. Do you think I'm better off moving it in this fall, or waiting until spring?

My guess is wait until spring... You're not giving the plant much time to establish itself before the frost comes.

I agree. Though I don't know that planting it now would necessarily kill it, you probably would be better off storing the bucket in a cool but not freezing place for the winter, pop it in the ground in the spring.

Might not hurt to drop a PM to wortly to see if he has an opinion. He's likely the right guy to ask.
