Anyone have these books, and are they worth picking up?
1) The Brewers Association's Guide to Starting Your Own Brewery, edited by Ray Daniels
2) Brewing Up a Business: Adventures in Beer from the Founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, by Sam Calagione

I have them both. Both are great, though 2) is more of his story.

I would assume you'll eventually have to find out what the regulations are in your province, and I think there is a federal license as well... I believe the nslc controls all liquor related shite in NS

They give you a general sense of what's involved, but as for the location-specific legalities, no.
