Another pretty sweet electronics project.

Re: BrewPi
My first keezer I built while back in university was similar to the kegbot. (I didn't bother with tracking users, because we didn't really care) I only ended up using to track how much beer was left in the keg (was quite accurate). I also did a custom setup (microcontroller) which also controlled the temp, because I didnt like how the KegBot used a computer (it wasn't quite as elaborate as it is now) I will say the flowmeters mentioned in the other thread (SF800) are by far the best, don't waste your time on cheaper ones as they are way too much grief (altho I got the SF800 ones for $30 when someone on ebay had a bunch years ago). I built a 2nd kegerator while still in university but got too fancy with the electronics (pic below) and never got it finished, sold it to my buddy who still has the flowmeters in line and no problems (although hes not monitoring them). Also have a small 3.5" touchscreen I intended to use as a display/interface.
I've just built a new kegerator and I am resurrecting my controller build, I'll post some details as soon as I have something. All the hardware (custom boards) was done awhile ago, I just haven't gotten around to doing the software (not as easy to do projects like these when no longer a student). We're now in the slow process of building a brewery so I expect this may be put off again, as that's a higher priority for me.
If anyone is going to give this a go and wants any info, let me know. I went to school/work as an EE, so thats why this is so overly (ie. unnecessarily) elaborate.
