Tracked down my water profile...

I just tracked down the water profile for Cheticamp, NS. I am posting it here in case anyone else is brewing in the area. Task number one tonight is to reread and (and hopefully absorb this time) Palmer's chapter on water treatment. In the mean time, what does this profile say to people who understand this stuff?

Sampling test conducted on March 26, 2012 provided the following results (taken in the chlorine room of the treatment plant):

Sodium: 34 mg/l
Calcium: 76 mg/l
Magnesium: 13 mg/l
Sulphate: 140 mg/l
Chloride: 33 mg/l
Carbonate (as CaCO3): 2.5 mg/l

Usually in my area (Sydney) I only have to worry about Calcium, Sulphate, and Bicarbonates. Palmer has a good section there which tells you where your levels should be according to the style of beer you are trying to brew. BeerSmith comes in very handy here as it has a water profile tool to help you adjust levels according to grams added of Gypsum, Chalk, etc. I would recommend getting it.

Also be aware that you have to convert the units to ppm.

mg/l and ppm are equivalent, aren't they?
