Except that we're supposed to be sequestering excess carbon dioxide, not releasing new sources of it into the atmosphere.

KMcK: Duh. We aren't releasing it in the atmosphere, we're releasing it into beer, which is completely different. : )

Then we'll all have to do what Ralph Klein suggested: hold our breath.

Brewing is carbon neutral, excluding malting, boiling, transport, etc. the CO2 comes from the sugar that was fixed from the atmosphere by the barley.

So if we all brew more than we can drink, we'd be sequestering carbon

I should also buy more grain and tell my wife its because I'm concerned about the environment.

There are a couple holes in your logic, but if it results in more beer then I'm not going to point them out.
