Nash's brews

Post by Tony L » Mon Sep 03, 2012 3:18 pm

Well Chris, I totally forget which brew is which, you gave me that Nash made a little while ago.

I'm drinking one right now.. tastes like a porter with a big bite of flavour along with ABV. Well done Nash.
Gonna have to sip this one, :cheers2:

Glad you're enjoying Tony! One of them was labelled when they left here, no labels?

The one I haven't tried yet is labeled Balticus.
I one I did drink was great. Like I said, a ton of flavour. Chocolate was up front for sure, so I will assume it is
/was a porter of some sort. It's history now though and looking forward to the next one tomorrow night.

Thanks so much.

Well that blows. Too bad you didn't know what it was as you imbibed. It was the Wreckoning RIS I promised you last March or April

Well I have now opened the Balticus.
Pours a nice fizzy golden colour..... I jest, it actually pours a deep ruby brown bordering on black.
Aroma of chocolate and fruit.
Taste is plum with evident smoke with chocolate also thrown in for good measure. Alcohol is also pronounced, although it
could be my poor palate mistaking it with the rich plum/raisin flavour.
My first brew with any type of smoke flavour, and I find it to be a beer I could get used to.

Again, congrats on another fine brew well made.
