can you dry hop a beer after its been carbonated? I I have an ale that is pretty sweet and malty and I'd like to add a little bit of balance to the beer. Thoughts?

It can probably be done but the hops will act as a nucleation point for the CO2 and it will fiz up.

I've done the Randel thing with a tea strainer. It kinda works.

I wouldn't dry hop at that point as a regular practice... But to fix a beer, give 'er!
