Just starting to gather items for a 3 vessel single tier eHERMS build (and going over the top).

We intend to do a automated BrewTroller setup and as such I'm intending to purchase ~10 1/2" 12V SS motorized ball valves. They are available from the BrewTroller site @ $49.99 US + shipping. I've contacted some Chinese suppliers (appears to be where BrewTroller gets them) and purchasing 10 I can get them for ~$35 ($26 valve + $9 shipping) US shipped.

I'm not sure if the price will go down much for a few more valves but shipping will likely save. I don't see to much talk on here of these valves so I thought I would see if anyone would be interested in getting in on an order (I will be ordering either way). If there is any interest I will see about setting up a group buy (I have to wait to get access), if anyone wants any info on them let me know. They are CWX-15 series valves.

I will hopefully try to offer a few group buys as we have a lot of items we'll be ordering eventually.

Those are neat little valves. That should be quite a system by the time you're done. I don't have much use, as my system doesn't have a dedicated area.

Before you get too crazy spending $$$ on the eHerms build, have you thought out your fermentation side? AFAIAC, that's where much of the magic happens when making good beer. Knowing what I do now, that's where I'd concentrate my efforts, but if you have a big budget, this will be a sweet system. I don't know of anyone else using the Brewtroller system locally.

Oh, I do realize none of this is necessary, its as much about the build/project as anything else.

We have been talking about fermentation options (ie. temperature control), although thats going to be a bit off at the moment. As it turns out I believe you were already talking in New Glasgow to buddy i'm building this with (Ned).

I didn't expect there would be too much local interest, but I thought I would post anyway.

There might be some local interest in some things that you are sourcing, but the ball valves are a bit of a specialized item.

While I am not ready to build anything I can't pull apart and put in storage, I would love to see pic's of your system as it unfolds.

Don't currently have much to post. The stand is about half welded (2" squaring tubing), and were waiting on fittings to have them welded into the kegs.

Were mostly waiting for parts to come in currently, once that happens I'll start a thread on here and try to post pics of the progress. Also planning to start a fermentation chamber build (also likely to be unnecessarily elaborate....haha).
