Force Carbonation and Cold Crashing

Post by vansrv7a » Wed Jul 18, 2012 10:15 pm

Folks,

I have 46L of beer ready to go into a 58L sanke keg. This is my first attempt at force carbonation. If I were to force carbonate the keg at 15 psi in a kegerator for a week (I'm off on vacation on Saturday until the following Friday) would this be sufficient? I really don't need it ready until next weekend, maybe even longer. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I think that should work, just make sure to give it a good purge.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
