how much to certify a CO2 tank

I just got my 2 5 pound CO2 tanks back from the place that fills them.
I had 2 tanks re-certified and filled and also had a 20 pounder filled.
Seems like each tank costs $60 per certification and regardless of size $15 for a fill.

All in all it cost $118 for everything tax in. He gave me half off the re-certification due to the long wait I had
for them to get the parts in to fix the testing machine.

Either way you look at it, it isn`t cheap.

What do it cost in NS and there-a-bouts.

I think the price you paid for 3 fills and 2 certifications was a good/great deal. If he had charged full price for the certs, however, it would not have been a deal at all.

Was thinking the same thing Chris.

Next time I`m due for a re-cert I`ll shop around for a price.
