Brewnosers Glassware Order - Get In On It Now!
I've started to receive some pricing back on glassware.
They have a 108 quantity minimum order per glass type, $20 setup fee and $135 for shipping
Based on the 16.5oz Munique glass, the printing price difference between a full color and one color is almost double! $8.50 vs $4.30 which works out to roughly $6 versus $10 per glass
I think we'd have a better chance hitting the 108 at $6 a glass with either a one color, (black, orange green??) or frosted simulated etching printed logo provided Jeff's blessing and possible manipulation to assure the features come through.
I've also asked for pricing on pint glasses which I suspect will be in the same ballpark.

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
If we end up going the etching/one colour (I'd highly recommend black for this) route, I'll definitely need to spend a bit of time with the logo to make sure that it doesn't look like a complete mess.

I added a poll to measure interest. It would help if you post quantity and color preference as well.

I voted single color, but the price for full color wouldn't scare me away.

I voted for full colour before reading the whole thing... I think I would prefer one colour and get get a few rather than full colour and get one or two

I'll grab whatever helps fill out the order.

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
I vote full, and I would probably take at least two. Do you guys think its a good idea to charge a buck or two more to cover overhead in storing them for the club. I'm sure as people break them we will continue to buy more. If we end up selling them all and there is a profit we can turn it over to the club for an event.

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
I agree that the full color looks sharp. Quality speaks!
Just a preliminary proof which will need tweaking around the star, wheat stems etc.

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
although still early, full color is almost unanimously preferred. That being said I added sheet link to start collecting quantities interest.

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
I think there's a lot of tweaking that needs to be done actually. Is that a proof from the vendor? The logo looks to be pretty blown out from how it should look, I think we absolutely need to work on that because there's no way that things should be that blurry. The logo seems to have some sort sort of water colour effect applied to it…know1 wrote:I agree that the full color looks sharp. Quality speaks!

I would also suggest that the logo be placed lower on the glass rather than on the concave part of the tulip. That type of curve will distort the logo.

I agree with Jeff above on the proof comments.. put that man in touch with the vendor and I think we all know the glass will turn out awesome!

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
I think I'm liking the color now, and Jeff's placement idea is spot on. If people would like, I can use the NCM 5% fund to bankroll any part of the order that needs to be made up, and we can move the extra glasses over the next 6 months....

Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
Agreed 100%! I wouldn't consider this barely more than a preliminary with the .png file just to get an idea. Once we are sure we can hit the minimum we'll talk proper proof details with the vendor. Jeff I'll definitely be in touch with you for the feedback and approval.jeffsmith wrote:I think there's a lot of tweaking that needs to be done actually. Is that a proof from the vendor? Re: Brewnosers Glassware Update
I see we're just over half way there. Lots of people have joined the forums since, so if you haven't yet, take a look at this thread and the spreadsheet. At this rate it will probably be a few years before we can order again and we'll likely choose a different glass type so think of this as your only chance to get one of these. If you've only ordered one, consider a second now because once you break it, it'll be too late to get another. Maybe we could get Rockbottom to order a dozen or two to serve the Brewnoser collaboration beers in.

Yeah, I'm guessing this got lost in here..I'm going to make it a sticky and edit the title to make it a little more obvious.
