By chance are Hall Tradition and Gr. Hallertau Tradition the same thing?

Nash knows the answer to that one. He explained it to me, but I have forgotten...
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I don't. It looks like somebody is just abbreviating the name so looks like the same hop to me.

Hallertau is the region it's grown in and is known to produce some of the finest hops. So you'll see Hallertau Northern Brewer, Hallertau Hersbrucker, Hallertau Tradition, Hallertau Hallertauer etc. :cheers2:
