Local Source for BioFine?

Post by BJBrewhaus » Wed Feb 07, 2024 2:14 pm

I've never had a lot of luck with gelatin, and Clarity Ferm is so pricey for someone without gluten allergies. I wanted to try BioFine but before I go order some online, are there any local vendors that carry it? NG/ BrewHQ, and Water n' Wine do not.

If any one has any leads on it I'd like to go local before ordering online.

The closest I've found is East Coast Hoppers in PEI. Unfortunately they're currently out of stock.

I found some at The Community Brew Shop in NB which is in stock. At first I thought they were selling it by the kilo based on the photo and thought it was crazy good deal but it's just 30g.

I can look into ordering another jug if people want some. The shipping isn't too cheap, but it's not that bad for a few litres of it.

Hey! Here's a selfish classified ad at the bottom of my name...
Party Time Brewing - Check it out. It's Beer! Sometimes available at Battery Park and soon at Real Fake Meats on Gottingen St. PM me if you want to buy some beer or just stop by and check out the brewery.

It was about $30 per kilo incl tax and shipping but may have gone up since.

I ended up buying some from Grain to Glass, it was about $40 for a kilo.
