Canadian Homebrew Day is coming up on Saturday June 4, 2022. It would be nice if we could do some kind of event this year. Maybe we could have a learn to brew session somewhere, or just get together and have some brews going. Any other ideas?

I'm lazy and won't be going anywhere, but now that the styles are announced, I'll for sure be doing a brew day at my place and any anyone/everyone is invited. Bring your system and brew (assuming 110v). I will be streaming on YouTube but if that is annoying, we can keep you out of the shot.

The styles are an overly complicated porter (because of one weeks notice) and a blonde. I'll be rocking the blonde. I have lots of us-05 that I can share and maybe some honey malt but still need the Pale malt and Willamette which I'll grab at BrewHQ since I'm pretty stoked on the new shop.

Let me know if anyone is interested in stopping by Uniacke... Room for tenters if you prefer not driving afterwards. Also bring the kids!

I may drop by your place and brew a half batch of the porter. I think I do have all 7 of those grains! No Irish Ale yeast though, so I'll have to find an alternative.

The English Porter recipe is best brewed in Dartmouth.

James, around what time are you starting up on Saturday? I'll bring my system over.

I'm good for anytime, but I was thinking around 2pm. Open to earlier if you would prefer.
