MWB bought out?

Post by marshydope » Sat Feb 27, 2021 7:24 pm

Was just at Noble grape Burnside and apparently they bought out maritime wine and beer to turn it into another Noble grape location. Fair bit of the equipment is on clearance at NG Burnside currently.

Never made it to MWB but too bad to see a homebrew business go under.

I don't think they went under so much as Tim probably wanted to retire and now was a good time to call it.

Hopefully you're right, I just assumed the pandemic had something to do with it.

It was a good time for both entities to make a change. It was a very equitable deal.

For now you will not notice much change in the shop.
