Kegerator question

Post by TheBucker » Fri May 15, 2020 9:12 am

Hello BN'ers,

I was wondering if anyone is using the 'KegLand - Kegerator (With Double SS Intertap Tower)' that is offered at Noble Grape. I have no interest in building my own setup and this looks like a nice fridge.

I have a few questions:

Is it a quality build?
Are certain upgrades recommended?
any idea if and when they go on sale?
are there better options in that same(ish) price range in HRM?
Will it fit a fermzilla or a standard bucket as a ferm-fridge?

Thanks in advance
Kegged: Irish Dry Stout, NEIPA
Fermenting: Lutra 'Lager'
On deck: Grapefruit IPA

I've been looking at the Kegland Series X which is an improved version of the Series 4. I haven't seen the Series X advertised anywhere in Canada yet though.
On tap Czech Amber Lager, Tropical Punch NEIPA
Bottled Belgian Tripel, Belgian Dark Strong, Dunkelweizen, Raspberry Saison, Chocolate Porter
Fermenting Wild Thing Saison, Pseudo Lager
Next up ?

The Series X hasn't been given cUA certification yet, not sure how long that'll take but they do give room for an extra keg which is nice.

They're good fridges, can't really say I'd upgrade anything on them. I personally don't like working with the plastic line they ship with, but the new ones now use push in fittings which makes things a lot easier.
