Ya How do I get 1000 billions yeast cell ?
Brewing a lager 65l @ 1.045, pitch rate of 1.5.

I mean, i could put 100$ worth of premade yeast.

Do you guys a concrete answer ?

Thanks for your time

Big ass starter. Not sure what that would be off the top of my head, but maybe brew 20l first and then pitch the 65l right on top of the yeast cake.

*edit: Here's a good tool to use to calculate how to do it https://www.brewersfriend.com/yeast-pit ... alculator/
On tap: Hopped Mead, ESB, Schwazbier
Coming up: Altbier
Fermenting: Maibock
Planned: NEIPA, NZ Pils, Oyster Stout

Still trying to figure out the calculators...
There is quite a bit of option.
How many steps. And the quantity and all

But maybe like you said, brew a 20l batch and pitch on that...

Not sure what you have to work with, but I reached 1t cells on the calculator with a 2l starter stepped up to a 5l all on a stir plate.

Thanks for chatting with me.
At 1.040 ?

Yeah it looks like imma have to get my hand on a stir plate. Guess it makes quite a difference in the propagation

Everwood carries erlenmeyer flasks regularly. Although 5l is the biggest they have and you'd be cramped for space to do a 5l starter in that. I think the 20l brew first and then pitching on top of that yeast cake is probably your best bet
