Priming using Brown Sugar?

Alright, this might be a rookie question but I can’t seem to find the answer. I just got done fermenting 10 gallons of Oatmeal Stout. I split the batch in two and primed one using corn sugar and then the second I decided to use brown sugar for a bit of an experiment.

My question is, will the beer take any flavors from the brown sugar or is the amount to small to leave tasting notes?

I very much doubt it. It’s too little to make a difference, especially in something as strongly flavoured as a stout.

Your carbonation might be a little less with the brown sugar. It tends to hold more water relative to it's weight.

Ya I used brewunited homebrew carbonation calculator and it gave a bunch of different sugars that can be used and how much based on the level of carbonation you are looking to achieve.
