I don't think, but I believe they will bring it in if you want it. I picked up some Carafa Special III there not too long ago.

They had it last year for the Garrison brew off but I think Jimmy's right, it's not an in stock item.

I'll be putting an order in with them soon, so I guess I'll ask them then.
Looks like their grain price hasn't gone up recently. I'm going to get a couple of sacks for sure.

How are you getting those shipped over? You can get in on our GB's if it makes more sense for you...Tony L wrote:I'll be putting an order in with them soon, so I guess I'll ask them then.

Unfortunatly it only works for me if I order from NG. The arrangement I have with a brewing buddy allows me to piggy back orders from NG
to him free of charge. I then pick it up at his house when the order arrives.

Re: Noble Grape selection
But somebody still pays for the shipping don't they, or are you riding on a flat rate shipment?

Re: Noble Grape selection
I went to the Clayton Park NG tonight to try and find something big enough to ferment a 10g batch, but compact enough to fit in my fridge. When I was there I noticed their grain storage bins were gone, and any grain they had was stored in buckets. Anyone know what's up with that? I'm wondering if they are downsizing on the grain section or if they are just trying to store the grain in better conditions than before.

They're probably moving to a self serve like on quinpool. Quinpool Also switched to round buckets when they changed to self serve

Re: Noble Grape selection
They always discouraged people from using those units. Maybe clearing out space for uvint...

They mentioned in Burnside that they would move to self serve at some point.

Re: Noble Grape selection
Nope not clearing space for uvint our store is to small, it's a self serve as well is the new layout provides us with some much needed space. Did you like the set up jimmy? Did it myself! Haha..like x said those old bins wernt idel for customer use. people made a significant mess by randomly pulling the tabs far to often. We figured if converting to self serve it would make less mess to have these new buckets with scoops..

Re: Noble Grape selection
Looks easy enough, though the old setup should have been too..I just felt like I was intruding if I went in and grabbed my own stuff
It definitely frees up some space, I noticed there's now some shelving with other odd/ends in that area.

Exactly! It's been fun people seem to like it cause they can take their time smell the hops and grains or just chat about brewing.
