[Aleanders] Where is a good spot to get CO2 tanks filled?
I thought this fill would be good for at least 3 more kegs... Must've had a leak or something, possibly poor force carbing technique too. In any case, I'm out. So much for serving a few willing victims my Oatmeal Stout. Is there somewhere I can fill my tank on the island this week?

T & K on Walker drive. You definitely have a leak, check your connections with soapy water. You should be able to get at least 6 months out of it.

It's a 5# keg & I filled it in August. I've accidentally purged with the gas still on on several occasions, but I will be checking my connections as soon as I get it refilled. I'll have to check T&K on Tuesday. Thanks for the tip!wortly wrote:T & K on Walker drive. You definitely have a leak, check your connections with soapy water. I was going through gas like crazy at first, ended up being a leaky pressure relief on one of my kegs.

Remember the little gasket between the tank and the regulator...

That's on there. It was gone for 3-5 days in early September. If I only I didn't keep smashing the gauge telling me how much is in there...mr x wrote:Remember the little gasket between the tank and the regulator...

Now that I have a scale, that is a feasible idea.mr x wrote:I weight my tank now.

I hear you. Mine got munged at Big Strange Brew, but was still workable, it's completely useless now.benwedge wrote:That's on there. It was gone for 3-5 days in early September. Doh! I weigh my _propane_ tanks. For some odd reason, it never even occurred to me to do that with the CO2. This tank is almost new, I'll go do that right nowmr x wrote:I weight my tank now.
