I've never used any brewing software, but would like to start after x-mas .
What I was wondering if someone here could put an upcoming recipies of mine through there software to give me a print out of it with all the IBU's ect.
Would also be open to suggestions to change it make it better after the orginal is done.
Thanks,
Peter

Re: Recipe help
FWIW, beersmith has a free 21 day trial.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

There's also a free online calculator: http://beercalculus.hopville.com/recipe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Its not as nice as BeerSmith, it doesn't take your equipment into account, and you have to play with PPG numbers if steeping (I made that mistake once,) but it should give you a rough idea.
If you are going to use BeerSmith though, just use the free trial like Mr. X says and then pay for it in the new year.

Another free option is Brewtarget. Fully featured/open source.

Not sure if anyone contacted you directly about your original question. If not, fire the recipe my way and I'll see what I can do. Can you also include as much info about your setup as possible (any idea about boil-off rate, efficiency, sparge technique), as these all make a big difference in the calculations.
