So I've been using iBrewmaster for a few years; not very consistently though, as I have a couple of goto recipes that I have memorized and keep track of scheduling on my phone. My plan was to use the app to come up with a recipe for the Blackbox challenge, but learned this afternoon that my ipad will no longer support it with iOS11. I would have to repurchase the app in order to get the upgraded version (shady).

Before I repurchase it or another, I thought I would poll to see what others are using or would recommend. So....whats everybody using??

Beersmith, best $20 i've spent brewing.

Ditto. Although you need to tweak it a bit at times. Water volume estimation is always high in my experience. I use an online calculator for my BIAB.

I've used Beersmith for both BIAB and three vessel systems - works great once you have your system dialed in.

EDIT: That's the full version of Beersmith for creating recipes, dialling in gear, etc. I use Beersmith Mobile on my phone or tablet for brew day timing, notes, etc.

I purchased beersmith and brewers friend for my iPhone and also the android.

I don’t use beersmith normally as I really enjoy the brewers friend a lot more.

I’m pretty sure there is a lite version you can try first before you decide to buy the full version(s)

Thanks for all the recommendations folks. Sounds like Beersmith is a clear winner here. Thing I'll buy that and check out the lite versions of others as i find them.
