Halfway through the boil on a hop bomb. Trying to use up some hops that are getting a little old.

Is the berliner done? Mine's really taking its time, I used the lactic magic too.

I just pitched it today....I've read it can take up two weeks to finish out.

How much dextrose did you use? Have you read this instruction sheet on the pitch: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0323/ ... 1624635136

Ha, I definitely missed that. I was actually asking some other folks if they had experience to see how to work with it but didn't think to check for a spec sheet 😅. Thanks for the link!

Ya the link is a little hidden on the product page.

I’ve had experience with the Lallemand Philly Sour which is another acid producing yeast and really relies on glucose for its acid production. I basically used the same amount of dextrose (~7-10%) for the Berliner with lactic magic.

I also know if the lactic magic slows down you could always pitch some sacch to finish it off.

Hmm, yeah I'll take a reading today and probably pitch something else to finish it off.
