Re: Random brewing pics
Glad it works! If you stir continuously you should be able to drop that time further. I've found I chilled a 40L batch in ~20 mins to 17°C using a 25 foot 3/8" chiller with continuous stirring.

Re: Random brewing pics
I did stir a little toward the end, but the thermometer and heating element get in the way. I designed the chiller for the keggle so it doesn't fit quite right in the Tall Boy. I might reconfigure it in the future. 50ft, 3/8".

Gonna be sick of these hops by the time I use them all. Gonna be some serious hops in my next IPA.

I am yet to see any "problems" here!

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Time to make a starter. Frozen wort leftover from an earlier brew day.
