Well, that was slow but painless. I'll bring the bucket up this week if you still want half.

Kegged a Citra 2 Row SMASH tonight, big Citra nose with a tasty light body. Thanks to Everwood for another top shelf recipe.

Adding the cukes to the cucumber saison
Cukes

Cuke slurry (filled with campden tablets)

24 hours later, slurry added to carboy and saison racked on top, the beer has a nice hint of green.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

The 25 Gallon must fit 2 3 year olds. My daughter uses the 15 gallon as a hot tub.

I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Re: Random brewing pics
I figured I'd purée it rather than use chunks. I don't have the option to strain the chunks out before fermenting and didn't want to scoop them out. I'm going to add the purée toward the end of the boil and dump it after it settles.
