Same day here, but had to drop it off for a bit.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

yessir.

The plan is to use the black 20oz cyl, the single-body regulator, and the 3gal as a portable system.

will be a good system for sure....i'd love a 3gal or two but they're so damn expensive. Seen a few for cheap on craigslist though in maine, but not going down anytime soon.

if anyone's going through and picks this up and wants to split up a few things...i'd be interested

Jmac00 - I have another question about your kegerator. What size shanks did you use for your taps?

the ones i got were from other purchases i did, and these were included. Two of them are about 4.5" and one is like 8" or so. I have one that i have to still install, and its about 3.5".

I couldn't see any pics, and got confused as to how many kegs there are. Might be worth a roadtrip, but not in this weather.

I will post a pic of the inside when I am home tonight. The tank is currently sitting on the inside lip over the motor. Worked out well for space

As promised. Its a little messy at the moment, plan to clean it out again when I put a third keg in. Am also thinking I will need a new regulator

Nothings wrong with it. I just want with with three separate gauges for each line coming out. Right not I have just split the one line split into two, so would be nice if i could control the carbonation separatley for each keg. Its possible the piece i need is not the regulator but something else.

aaahhh ok...secondary regulators. Basically just a regulator body with the top gauge...then attach them to each other via a coupler and make a bank of regs. That's the route i'm taking as well...already got the regs...just need to find some couplers...left hand thread is not the easiest to find locally.

For left-hand fittings try Faiview Fittings. They're in Burnside just off Isnor (not to far from Princess Auto)

Here's a pic of my kitchen fridge!

My place is pretty small so I didnt want to take up any real estate with an extra fridge. Its slightly ghetto but... its 2 different cold beers on tap.
I modified the dip tubes so they reach into the bottom corner of the kegs ( kegs dispense clear brew right down to 200mL).

Eventually I will get a proper kegerator but for now this seems pretty ideal to get started with.

LOL. I can just imagine what my wife would say :-) I was saying to Chris when I picked up my kegs last week that this is all just an experiment to find out when she screams "STOP!" I already know that putting two kegs in the bottom of her fridge is past the limit!
Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

the kegerator lives!!!!!!!!!!

took my bar fridge, and replaced the door shelves with a piece of aluminum-poly-aluminum.

The 5lb and dual-body reg fits perfectly.

Fridge holds two corneys (barely)... I'm just using a couple picnic faucets for now, but I can see myself replacing that set-up with a two-tap tower within the next few years.
