I'm around Halifax until the middle of July and I'll be back for a week at the beginning of August - would love to meet up with folks for a beer or two before I leave. The first half of July is looking relatively free of obligations. :cheers3:
Once I get these beers kegged pop out for a afternoon of beers on the patio. :cheers2:

Brewing a Kolsch today. I hope to clean up before it rains. We need rain, but not on Canada Day.

I'd love to be brewing today, but I'm in the middle of Kouchibouguac. I think some weekend in the fall I'm going to bring my gear and brew a "camping" ale. I would just need to have a full container of wort make it back home without spilling.

How did the mango wheat turn out? I don't think I've ever seen a mango beer before.

Mashing in on a nice hoppy IPA. A slight variation on the Citra SMaSH we made in May. Added a bit of chocolate malt to the 2-row.

Accidentally poured my stir bar in my fermenter for the first time. Put a note on the bucket so it gets retrieved when the beer is kegged.

You wouldn't add those until after the main ferment dies down right?

Exactly - so I have a few days to decide. I have a bunch of frozen raspberries left from Taproot shares that need to achieve a higher purpose.

My latest brew is an attempt to refine my citrus red rye IPA recipe that I entered in the Stillwell Open. This version was designed to be single-IPA strength with a little more yeast character (WLP051), more hop aroma and less expensive to make (regular orange rind to go with the grapefruit instead of blood orange and tangelo because I'm sure nobody can tell the difference).

Hydrometer sample tasted pretty good. It was dry hopped once already but I'm trying an in-keg dry hop for the first time. It'll sit outside the fridge for a couple days then I'll crash cold and apply CO2.

Flying Monkey Smashbomb Atomic IPA clone is just starting to boil. We went through the first one at a rather alarming rate (liked it better than the original!) I think we'll need to make another one right on the heels of this one to keep up with demand.

Brewing for the first time in months. Summer School Saison on my last day of online M.Ed. classes for the summer
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe
