Just finished 10 gallons of Irish Brown ale and 10 gallons of Chocolate "Ale", filling up on propane in the morning.

:cheers2:

You two brewing at home again? that's great. :cheers2: Last time I saw Kirsten she was almost too busy to talk to me, brewing away with her sodding great machines at Paddy's.

Busy today with my beer, didn’t dare brew in case the power went out, but set up for a brew tomorrow, ordinary bitter "Brit Bit". Made a yeast starter (West Yorkshire ale yeast) and ground up the grain. I kegged the second half of last week’s blonde ale “G’day, this keg had raspberries in the secondary. I put my new IPA “More” in the keezer to chill and carbonate, thought I’d have a taste, and ended up drinking a full glass. It may best beer yet, it's like "Three" but more bitter, more ABV and has centennial as well.

I'm going to pitch the whole starter at high krauesn tomorrow ...enough of this f'in around chilling, sanitizing mason jars, decanting etc.

Braving a "storm brew" today too! ;)

We're brewing at home again...tends to happen in fits and spurts, and it's usually just notched into a day between housework and the whack of other projects we're trying to finish up.

Glad to hear your "More" is tasty, Mark. :)

Going to do a Rookie-inspired American mild and hit it hard with late hops.

Brewing a Chocolate Oatmeal Stout tonight... Gonna be a late, cold night but well worth it!

Bavarian APA All-German Malts (Weyermann Pale, Munich, Melanoiden) with Magnum, tonnes of late Mandarina Bavaria, and K-97 Yeast
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Tomorrow morning I'm going to be trying out West Coast Blaster from the Brewing Classic Styles book. Hoping for good weather and an even better brew!

Made an APA this morning before the snow hit. A bit chilly, but nothing we can't handle. Chione Pale Ale is resting comfortably in the fermenter.

I have all my 8 kegs full. I need to move some to bottles as I'm itching to get on and make my barley wine.

I would bottle a barley wine, they take forever to become good and you do not want to take up a keg for a year :)

Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA

I was going to secondary ferment and force carb in kegs, then bottle with Blichmann gun and put bottles in basement.
