No clue. I'm quoting Garrison's twitter feed.
Definitely German on that one. Personal preference I'd get people going to Premier to try Denison's or Schneider Weiss before Ludwig, or even Paulaner at the LC. But I'm not putting on the contest.

I'm making my second attempt at the competition beer today. Yesterday's OG was 1030 when it was supposed to be 1049! Obviously my mash was all wrong. Andrew and Jonathan from Noble Grape gave me some good mashing advice, so hopefully this one turns out better! It's a simple Weisen, half pilsner and half wheat, tetnanger hops, Wyeast 3068 yeast. - Doug Roy

There's the benefit of keeping a little LME/DME on hand. Hope the second turns out better.

Thanks Mr X. I THOUGHT about that, but I was so frustrated that I was so far off the mark that I wanted redeem myself to myself.

Fwiw, I've always had to adjust for low efficiency with wheat beers.

Brewed yesterday - off by one gravity point, but a little extra volume so I'm happy. Yeast is happily working with very little lag time.

Derek, that was probably due to me distracting you, and the weather to boot! Thanks for letting me sit in for the short time I had. Looking forward to doing a colaborative brew sometime. :cheers2:
