I had enough LME left over from the beer I made Saturday to make a 750ml starter. I left a small amount of yeast slurry in my flask, added the new wort and put it back on the stirplate. It's pretty much fermented out now, and I'm tempted to crash, decant and do a second stage so that I can store a larger volume of yeast. Would this be a waste of time?
Bottled: ESB, Old Peculiar, Blonde Lager, Grolsch clone
On Tap: BCS Dry Stout, Festabrew Cervesa
Next: Grolsch clone 2.0, Irish ale

I think it would be. i would wait until you are ready to brew to step it up.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
