Just about to mash in on an all Belma Pale Ale part of my "Drop It Like It's Hop" series :cheers3:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Thank you. I name most of my beer after songs. Paralle 49 has a beer called 187 on an undercover cop, I wish I had of though of that one, although it wouldn't have been edited X) Chalmers is also bringing me a Total Eclipse of the Hop by Howe Sound this eve, another great name.

I like the hop. The DIPA I brewed I'm hoppy with. Altho I want to create a more complex malt build and not use all Pilsen next time.

Much cooler than my Star Wars themed beers. Just bottled my Hop Solo IPA, tasted a little chewie. Going to start a Galatic Imperial Stout.

Do not sell yourself short on your naming! I'm really enjoying the Star Wars themed beers :spilly: I may be doing a He'Man themed naming series coming up

I hoping to do a Father's Day brew, I'll have to see if I can get grains (dave's not open til sunday). I'll have to brew Sat, my son's prom is Sunday so I'll be at the gardens taking pictures sunday afternoon.

I'm planning a Blue moon clone/hope to brew it this weekend

10gal batch
90 min boil
10lbs 2 row
10lbs white wheat
2lbs of crystal 10
1lb of Carapills
mash at 158F for 90min
2oz of Hallertau at 60min
4tbsp of corn starch at 15min (mixed into a slurry)
1oz of cracked coriander at 10min
6oz of orange peel at 10min (not sure may do 4oz of sweet/2oz of bitter)
S04 or US05

Edit...Dave is the man....looks like this is a go ahead

My Wed. PM brew tomorrow will be a Pilsner and Galaxy Smash with Wyeast 1649. I'm naming it "Poolside Blonde"

After spending 4 hours brewing in the rain, I'm trying to lay the groundwork with the significant other for space for an indoor electric brewery - not going well so far!

You can do electric outside too, I've done it in the rain, but a roof is nice...
