Are there any Brewnoser glasses left anywhere? I asked Jimmy and he said to post here to see if there were any around. I’m a new member here and I only joined to try to get the glasses :) They look perfect for my imperial IPA. Thanks.

(Going back to England on a beer tasting trip this weekend, so won’t be around for two weeks. Actually going to visit my Mum, but she wisely lives next door to a pub.)

Oh one won't work :( I'll be sitting there with a really nice glass of beer and my wife will be glaring at me with her run of the mill glass. Or could be the other way around. Who knows what might happen. We could end up drinking from the same glass, that could be romantic, but could cause squabbling too.
I have to start somewhere though. If I have one then I might be able to get another, and then some more for when friends come around.
Is there anything you want me to get you from England for the exchange?

Dental care! Just kidding.

1/2" BSP Female to 1/2" barb stainless steel. To fit the pumps we bought.

If you can source them Let us know the cost. They are crazy expensive here.

Last year I could have had the glass delivered.

Sandy that's a brilliant idea!! i'm still trying to figure out how to get my hands on some of those :rockin:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

So I understand you need two of these Sandy: http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/taps- ... -tail.html and you have a lot of other people that need them. Is that correct? is it the correct fitting?
If they really are cheaper in the UK (don't forget it's about $2 per pound sterling) we could get them delivered to my mother's address and I could bring them back on the 19th June. If it helps I would be quite happy to do that.
40 of them would cost about $400 that might be quite an upfront cost and I see they only have 8 in stock. Perhaps if any-one would like to order directly themselves they could pm me and I would pm back my mother's mailing address. That way people could order them from anywhere in the uk and have them delivered in your name c/o my mother at her address.
PM me and let me know.
Sandy I will buy you two and bring them back in exchange for the glass. That is the right fitting in the link right?

I think it is.

Can some one with a better sense of these things have a look?

The cost of the glass is on the thread. I will make up any difference.

When do you want the glass?

I recall our pumps having male threads on the ends so we would need the female end to thread into.

Sandy. Looks like you need two females ;) . I might just try a hardware store when I am there and I'll get in touch re an exchange for the glass if I succeed. Don't worry about price difference. Hopefully it will work out.

Sandy, Thanks, I'm not in a hurry for the glass and I'm leaving on Sunday any way. I might try to get some for LiverDance too. He seems to need some. I think I will pm you my mother's address in England and if anyone wants to buy them online and ship to my mother's address c/o my mother I would be happy to bring them back. I might give them to you to pass on or something. So if anyone want's to do that, ask Sandy for the address. My mother doesn't have a computer so I won't be online when I am there. I am there for 2 weeks starting this Sunday, but to be on the safe side would be best to do the online orders before Sunday 9th June.

Pump owners.

Do you want a set of BST adapters?

Can someone with more knowledge select the part we need and I can order?

Sandy, I would like to get 2 of these

http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/camlo ... tting.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For you Sandy if you want the barb,you will need the following
http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/taps- ... ocket.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.angelhomebrew.co.uk/en/taps- ... -tail.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

which is still cheaper than the direct female connection on that other site mentioned above.

I'd like to order some if you do please. What is the "new style glass" is it like Canuk's one in the picture?

That's the old/original style (like what Sandy will have for you).

These are massive glasses, big enough to fit a 650mL beer, so we were hoping for some smaller ones, in the 350mL range.

That would be better for me as my beers are usually around 8% and the next one planned is 9%. Something shaped for an imperial/double IPA would be ideal for me, but it doesn't really matter too much.

I'm still hoping to get Sandy's one though as well, just in case I need to get someone drunk with "just one beer" :lol:

Thanks
