Hoping my weekend works out, will be putting my Beeman's Honey Brown kit in the keg, and I have a Festabrew Westcoast IPA , along with a coopers kit. Just something quick and easy to get in the kegs and ready for my kegarator.

Making another French style Saison.

Bottling an amber. I racked and dry hopped a citra smash.
If I had my minifridge (lager chamber) temps under control I'd make a bock. But looks like I have to make a controller.
May start another red Ale.

Oktoberfest is tomorrow, so I'll be making room in my beer fridge. Need to fill it.

There’s nothing wrong with being nuts. It’s a lot of fun. Don’t disillusion the neighbours. Let them get on with their Budweisers and cornflakes.

There’s 660 nut cases on here and the numbers are growing . We have an army of skilled people, professionals, and enough people with resources on here to deal with any situation that might occur. So if the men in white coats come for you with straight jackets, just give us a holler. I’m already working on an action plan. We could install a brewery at the Dartmouth Mental Hospital and all move in.

There is a psychiatric test wherein the patient is shown a picture of a large pot. If the response is "beer", or "brewing" then there is a very slim chance of recovery. With the move away from institutionalization over the past few decades, most of these people are now released back into the community!

There is a more serious condition seen in BIAB people, wherein a picture of a simple bag elicits the same response. In the old days most of these people were simply shipped off to Australia. There never has been an available remedy.

Ps. I have the same score as you in the hockey pool this morning and I picked entirely at random. I hope you didn’t see that early this am and storm off outside to brew.

Brewing a Simcoe Pale Ale today as party of a couple party we are hosting. The ladies are making apple pies all day while the guys brew beer. Kind of a how to gathering, giving about 6 guys a basic idea of all grain brewing. Keezer is fully stocked so if you are in the Digby area drop in. PM for details.

Just kegged a West Coast IPA and European Lager. Will be putting on a Irish Red and a hopped up Canadian light ale.

First brew in a while now. Made an all Cascade APA. Looking great so far, but my efficiency is a bit lower than usual. Must check the gap on the mill.

Been away from brewing since the Garrison Competition last year. So made up for it by brewing a Wheat beer today (first time using torrified wheat, instead of wheat malt) and a Black Scapular Dubbel.

Methods were a little rusty on the Weizen, efficiencies were terrible. Brushed up and the Dubbel went off without a hitch.

English Brown here for Learn2Brew day. How did your day go, any newbies drop by for some learning (unsure if you opened it up to anyone else)?

I brewed an ipa fire the big spruce thing.

I pitched a 4.5L starter on a 200L barrel of cider. If all goes well it will be stuffed into a freshly emptied 12yr old Glenora barrel and dry hopped with centennial type hops for MooooVember.
