Hoping to brew a couple of times next week while I'm on vacation. Planning to do 10 gallons of the BCS West Coast Blaster red on Monday and then a 5 gallon batch of pumpkin ale later in the week.

^ I've gotta brew my pumpkin ale really soon as well.

I'm currently heating up the strike water for an IRA.

Hope I can squeeze in a single hop pale ale of some sort this weekend, I got some hops that I have never tried before for free along with my order from hops direct last spring so I want to see what they are like. Anybody used Legacy, Brewers Gold, Sterling or Ultra before?

Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA

Last weekend was an Oatmeal stout, and now an American Amber to use up some leftover simcoe.

In the next few days I plan on doing Earth/Monstrous Hummingbirds IPA which will try to get some good earthy and floral hop flavours into. Then I'm due for a new all grain version of my Pep Lion coffee oatmeal stout. I've used the Mexico coffee from Smiling Goat in the last couple of coffee brews. Probably try a different coffee blend this time around.

Just brewed an American Amber. Started with the West Coast Blaster recipe, but since I can't seem to colour inside the lines I upped the amount of hops by about 75%. :spilly:

One carboy got BRY-97 and the other got US-05. Pumpkin Ale coming later in the week. On the fence whether to brew 10 gallons or just 5…

I think we're going to head out to the valley this weekend to harvest Gavin's hops. Book it back to the city, and brew a batch!

Ended up with an unexpected afternoon to myself so taking advantage and brewing up a batch of Bees Knees. This will make 25 gallons for the week. A productive vacation. :spilly:

From what I’ve learnt of the Brewnosers over the past few months since I’ve been here…I’d say you have been invited around for a beer Nathan. ;)
