Sorry to resurrect, but ....just curious if glassware swag order is an annual thing or was this a one-time event?

It was a one time thing, though I wouldn't mind seeing another order for a different style of glass.

There was talk of an IPA glass here http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... =IPA+glass" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Not sure what has happened to the order, but they are cool (although expensive) glasses.

The IPA glass GB kinda died on the table, a bit on the expensive side. Some of us have been fortunate enough to receive one, me included, from one of our own who travels to the US on occasion. That Chalmers fella is wicked good.Graham.C wrote:There was talk of an IPA glass here http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... =IPA+glass" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

I'm still pretty partial to those can-style glasses. They're pretty unique. The only time I've seen them before was on some video featuring Tallgrass Brewing.

I was also thinking it'd be nice to have a tasting size glass, rather than the 16oz or 20oz glasses that are usually available
