I gave up waiting for you to brew those multiple test batches and bring them by for a taste! I know, you sent your roomie by with one that tasted fine, but I'm still waiting to taste the rest. "fine" isn't particularly exciting in my books but more importantly is trying a few different methods as planned. I'm not a baby sitter, I ask once then it's up to you. Come see me and we'll figure it out.Jayme wrote:Haha I gave up.
Hang tight and we'll get around to more collab brews eventually. It was a grueling haul from Sept through Dec integrating the 14 new tanks. New tanks require a 5 hr caustic clean then passivation with a strong acid solution, then a drying period. Then to get them all filled with product. I also brew beers for the Moustache upstairs now. So yeah, I'm taking a bit of a breather, except it isn't really a breather because I'm too busy.
There's a LOT of things that come into play when brewing professionally that you don't need to worry about when home brewing which I'm not going to get into too much here, now. Suffice it to say sometimes it can be a challenge. Filling all the new tanks left me with all fermenters full and in need of fast specialty beers plus I tied up one tank with Wreckoning RIS for ~ 10 weeks.
Collab beers will happen as I have brain space and there's time to treat the brew with respect.
Meanwhile.... my fermenters are all full. Again
