Recently brewed up a DIPA. Target OG was 1.085 and I hit 1.092.....which is never a bad thing!

Hmmm? I have nothing planned but have another carboy that needs filling. Pale Ales and IPAs are always welcome here and I'm out of coffee stout. Decisions.

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
Brewed up an APA with Galaxy and Zythos so the first A stands for Australia
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
If the Fundy area brewers grain order arrives before the weekend I am thinking about trying parti gyle for the first time on Sunday, planning to make 1.100+ gravity american barleywine from first runnings and then make an lighter APA from the second and third runnings.

We used to piggyback on Big Tide grain orders, but now that one of our members is opening up a nano he could open up an account with G&P and order stuff in.

90 minute boil reduces DMS from the pilsner malt... Or something.
