No more fucking complaining about ng

Post by sleepyjamie » Mon Mar 03, 2014 5:47 pm

For a bag of marris otter here in cow town it's $95

So I don't want to here any more complaining about ng prices.

Start your own group buys and stop your complaining.

Haha. I wish. Only problem is their forum sucks balls and no way to easily communicate with people. Meetings are basically in a warehouse and not very easy to chat over a beer.

Plus the group is very tightly knitted with the lhbs so I'm guessing group buys would be highly discouraged.

Lot's of disposable income out there. IIRC, NCM has a outlet in Alberta, maybe Calgary...

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Make friends with the Wild Rose (or Brew Bros or Village) guys/gals, see if they'll sell you a few bags every once in a while?

Never did complain about Noble Grape. Great shopping experience and I'm pretty sure we all go there. I was in there today actually, swapping out my empty CO2 tank for a full one. Kirsten and Ed were there (both Garrison finalists) had a great little chat.

Slipped on the ice today and have a massive swelling/bruise on my hip and can hardly walk. Was back at Coldbrook NG today, had to pick up a new thermometer for my Blichmann pot, the old one only worked if you tapped it and they replaced it right away, no questions asked. I told them I buggered up my hip and they were very sympathetic. It’s like the old days, how shopping used to be. Kirsten and Joe were there today. Kirsten hasn't been brewing lately, some excuse about Joe being away for a week. I think she and Keely are all tuckered out from making it to the finals in the Garrison comp. :)

I hope drinking all that Weizen hasn't put them off beer altogether.

Yep 76 entries in the comp. and it's maybe the third brew they ever did.
