Lallemand Munich Wheat
Anyone ever try this one? Hoping it's better than Fermentis WB-06.

Weird... I haven't changed anything. I wonder what's up with that?NASH wrote:Jimmy wrote:It works on blackberry, and not sure about android. You must be using one of those gay iPhones are you?NASH wrote:Anyone ever try this one? Hoping it's better than Fermentis WB-06.

Re: Lallemand Munich Wheat
I used Munich in a 10 gallon batch of wheat beer and fermented half with apricots and half with raspberries. Haven't tried the raspberry yet but the apricot turned out nice. My palette and my ability to describe the flavours seems to be limited. All I can say is it turned out fruity and the wife likes it too!
I have used the WB-06 once before and I think I prefer the Munich.

You mean Chef Stone won't stir up a decoction in the kitchen for you? Where's the love?

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Forgot to mention Munich attenuation was 84% on this batch. Re: Lallemand Munich Wheat
Well the beer is on tap at the pub, has been since Friday. This yeast is the shit! (for dry) Way way way WAY better than WB-06 imho, but then again it might just be all that melanoidin I threw in there
It was a powerhouse fermenter too, very close to FG 3 days out from pitch with a cool-ish fermentation @ 64F. Apparent degree of fermentation = 81%
