Usually somewhere in the 60g range. It's calculated out in Beersmith if you use that software.jacinthebox wrote: how many oz of corn sugar do you use for a standard carb level (say 2.4vol)?

For people who keg prime - do you find there is more sediment?
I currently force carb and fine with gelatin at 6-8°C. Typically the first pint is sediment and it's clear sailing from there on. Is this comparable?

Re: Kegs... How many is enough?
I have 4 taps and 10 kegs, normally 1-2 kegs house bigger beers that I let age for a bit. I fill, purge, force carb and store in my basement at 12-15C, never had any spoilage issues.
In the winter months I easily fill all 10 kegs as the beer goes slower, I am kegging the last two empties this weekend. We have more people over to the house in the summer, so I go through the beer much quicker in the nice weather months. My feeling is, 10 kegs works pretty good for me but I would pick up another 2 kegs at a decent price.....12 kegs would be the most I would want to store at any one time.

Re: Kegs... How many is enough?
I have 2 regular taps + 1 cobra tap. I have 4 5 gal kegs for regular stuff and 2 2.5 gal kegs for bigger or experimental beers. I am a firm believer in the 2x the number of taps you have rule

Fermenting: Oud bruin/Vienna Pekko SMaSH
On tap: Nelson dry hopped Berliner/ Scottish Heavy 70-/ NE IPA
