Cape Breton Group Buys

Hey guys! I am now an official Sydney home owner. I have a job teaching at Cape Breton University, and will be splitting my time between here and Cheticamp. I am not sure how many Brewnosers we have from the northern part of the Island, but I figured that there must be opportunities for cooperation. In particular, I wanted to volunteer coordinating periodic group orders from Dave (Everwood Ave Brew Shop: https://www.everwoodavebrewshop.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). For those who don't know, Dave is a long time Brewnoser and his store is a fantastic asset for the community: great prices, great selection. People in Halifax have the opportunity to avoid shipping fees by heading to his store/house. We don't have that option, but Dave has told me that if we pooled together on group orders he'd be happy to help us out with shipping (or perhaps even waive it if we can put together orders large enough). Anyway, I am posting this to see how many people might be interested in making regular orders. I would be happy to receive and hold things at my (now mostly empty) house. I would also be happy to drop some things off when I commute to people on the way.

Is this of interest to anyone?

Also: If we aren't already, we need some Cape Breton Brewnoser meet ups.

I head to Sydney every 4-6 weeks during the nicer (non snow) months.
I don't mind doing dropping stuff off to you guys when I come up.
