Tube Sizes

Post by bluenose » Fri Aug 10, 2012 2:23 pm

I have a leak somewhere in my keg system and I think it's at the T I put in for dual product... Now I'm thinking I want to put one line in all the way from to regulator to the corney keg for the time being...

How big is the barb on the regulator, and how big is the barb on the pinlock disconnect?

From my searches around, I'm thinking I need to go from 5/16" (regulator) down to 1/4" (disconnect), but I'm having the fear that it's more like 7/16" down to 3/16"

Anyone out there know for sure?

It's pretty much impossible to know with seeing what you have in hand, but keep in mind that tubing is pretty stretchable, so going a bit smaller on the diameter may not be that bad.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I suppose a tight fit is always better than a loose one...
