I don't have a jockey box (although I am planning on building one as soon as I get storage sorted out and have some extra cash for copper), but I am having a BBQ on Friday and would like to serve all my beers. Currently I only have space for one keg at a time in my kegarator, so that takes care of one. I would like to get another 2 maybe 3 kegs chilled for people to try. What do you think is the best way to do this? Put them in my mash tun (70qt extream cooler) with a tonne of ice? Will that chill them down to a serving temprature. If so, does anyone know how long it might take to get them down from about ~20-22F to a decent temp to drink? Anyone know of another way?
Oh yeah, CO2 is not a problem, I have a manifold and an extra tank and regulator.
