Last week, for the first time, I connected my new regulator from ontariobeerkegs to a tank and used it to slow force carbonate a keg. One thing I've noticed with this regulator is that it's hard to set & maintain a pressure. I set it to say, 20psi, and can watch it slowly creep up over the next 5-30 minutes, and reach pressure of ~30psi. If I purge, then let it re-pressurize, it does the same thing.
My other regulator that I've been using all along will instantly hit the pressure it's set at..no creeping up over time.
Anyone have this happen?

Nope. Using a regulator from ontariobeerkegs as well and it's worked perfectly for me so far.

Hi, that happens to me, but not as bad as what you have. If I want 12 psi I set the gauge to 10-11 and after a few hours it will hit 12psi and stay there. I have just learned how to work with mine.

I have a couple regulators that do that, one worse than the other, but only when they are in the fridge.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Mine does that too. I use the patented Timothy Doane method.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

I had one do that. I noticed it after I had burped a keg I figured it was the cold CO2 (from have it expand) in the chamber warming up and expanding. I have only used it once or twice, so I haven't figured out what is going on.
