Hi guys. I guess I have been under my rock too long but I was going to brew a batch tonight and realized I'm short 2.75lbs of Crystal 10. I live in Sackville and have only ever shopped with Dave but now just found out that he never opened back up. That really sucks.
Does anyone semi local have some they could part with. Willing to over pay or trade other ingredients if you need some.
Thanks
Looking for some grain

Check out Noble Grape. What style are you brewing? Depending on the style and what you have a sub would be a non issue. Have other malts?

Ya, any reasonable substitute will be fine. We're not that picky
Will call noble. I thought it took a couple days to do their curb side pickup.
Brewing what we call our house pale ale. The easy drinking beer you always have on tap.
Pale Malt 76.2%
Vienna German Malt 19.1%
Crystal 10L Malt 4.8%
.4oz cascades per gallon
Currently doing a full inventory to see what else might be possible. Might be fun to try something new.

I'd up the base malt, and vienna and chuck in carapils if you have it. If not Pale Malt 90% and Vienna at 10% would be nice. I wouldn't worry too much about the C10.

Thanks a lot for the advice. We've actually gotten pretty decent at following a few tried and true recipes but the art the actually creating or adjusting a recipe is a bit lost on me.
